This work was made in 2024 as an extension to the Else series (The More Things Come Together, The More They Fall Apart). I love working at this scale. There is something intimate, special about it. ‘Ito’ emerged out of a process of iteration. I would photograph folded pieces of paper then print them, cut them and photograph again. This process keeps me too busy to overthink and that’s important to me.

I fully agree with Sister Corita Kent’s rule “making and analysing are two different activities” !
