This work represents the first final version of the Else series which was shown in 2024 as part of rightNOW, a group show curated but Onespace Gallery in Brisbane.

Morris Moon hangs by my bed. I love it. I was trying to recreate the saturation of ultramarine pigment- it was virtually impossible to mix this colour the way i saw it- the saturation does something to the eye- if feels almost blurry- this painting was made using ultra thin layers and a special badger hair brush to create the blurry feeling.
